Our importing and wholesaling business commenced in January 1980. We have continued to focus on our key strengths which is importing and wholesaling to retailers and wholesalers throughout Australia and New Zealand.
A consistent product we have imported since our beginnings is eyewear. Starting off with fashion sunglasses, we progressed into magnifying/reading glasses.
After obtaining our AS/NZS1337 certification in 1999, we developed our range of safety glasses, goggles and face-shields. In the early days, the designs of safety were traditional safety styles. Combining our experience in fashion sunglasses, we helped revolutionise the Australian safety eyewear market with fashion.
Since that time, we have now transferred our licence to the factory we represent and now represent a number of safety glass factories in Asia.
In 2006, we officially launched the On Site Safety brand to showcase the latest in style and design of safety eyewear to the Australian market. In the same year, we also introduced the SGA (Safety Glasses Australia) brand of safety eyewear. The SGA range carries predominantly industrial styled safety glasses.
After launching the On Site Safety and SGA range of safety eyewear, we moved on to hearing protection in 2007. We now challenge the major players in hearing protection with our comprehensive range of hearing protectors.
In 2008, we have developed with our latest factory, a Type 1 Industrial Helmet.
In 2008, we have launched another range of safety eyewear under the branding of Bandit III. The Bandit III range will feature technical, state-of-the-art and chic safety eyewear.
In 2009, the Type 2 High Temperature Helmet was released to market.
In 2010, we developed a range of warning lights including LED light bars, rotating beacons and xenon strobe lights. This included extensive research and development in the Torrent intrinsic safe torch with Class 1 and Class 2 accreditation.
In 2011, we released the Interlock Clips. This followed in 2012 with the Australian designed (patent pending) Interlock Belt Clip.
Based in WA, we service all parts of the country with our local team members.
